Meet Worsham El, CEO & Co-Founder

Worsham El is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW ) and Certified Family Trauma Professional (CFTP). She has over 12 years of experience empowering diverse populations of vulnerable youth and families in multiple settings such as medical, academic, residential, and child welfare. She strongly advocates for the promotion of healthy relationships and the socio-emotional development of youth and communities. Worsham El is passionate about educating professionals and caregivers on the impact of complex trauma. She was nominated as a Top Health Care Provider of 2017 by the International Association of Health Care Professionals.

Worsham El specializes in treatment of complex trauma and implementation of trauma-informed care. Her Bachelor’s is in Psychology from Loyola University and she received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. She is trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Neurosequental Model of Therapeutics (NMT), and Affect Regulation Competency (ARC).

Worsham El is credentialed as a Level 2 provider of evidence based, trauma-informed mental health services by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
